Sung Min was born, raised and did his BA in English Literature and Linguistics in Korea. After graduation, he had worked as an English teacher, and then he came to London in 2005 to do a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism.
While he was studying in London, he worked as a journalist for The Euro Journal which is a Korean weekly newspaper circulating in 20 European countries.
After he had finished his Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism, he started working for Pasona Europe in City of London, the European branch of global Pasona Group which is an international HR company. Later the company changed its name to Perfect Employment.
He had been in charge of Korea Desk and become a top performing recruitment consultant in the company, and later he became the Head of Recruitment.
As born and raised until his 20s in Korea, he knows exactly what is required by Korean companies and also about Korean candidates. He’s been successfully satisfying both his clients and candidates, and building a broad network across UK, Europe and Korea.
After 7 years of working for Pasona Europe, he had left the company and founded his own company K-People Europe Limited in Jun 2014.
As the first Korean national recruitment consultant in UK and Europe, his story became famous among Koreans, and then he started giving a speech organized by Korean government on finding jobs abroad for Korean young people.
Then he was appointed as a Mentor of K-Move which is a project currently pursued by the Korean government as part of its national agenda to give more opportunities to Korean young people seeking overseas employment.
He’s currently the Director and Senior Recruitment Consultant of K-People Europe Limited based in London, UK.
K-People Europe의 대표이사인 전성민 헤드헌터는 한국에서 태어나 대학에서 영어영문학을 전공했으며 2005년도에 유학생으로 영국에 왔습니다.
런던에서 언론학(Journalism) 수업석사 과정을 이수하던 중 한국 일간신문의 객원기자 및 영국에 본사를 두고 전 유럽국으로 발행되는 주간신문 유로저널에서 기자로 근무하였으며, 이후 2007년에 전 세계 12개 국가에 진출해있는 HR 전문 기업 파소나(Pasona)의 유럽 법인(Pasona Europe, 추후 회사명을 Perfect Employment로 변경)에 입사했습니다.
런던 시내 금융가에 위치한 Pasona Europe에서 영국 및 유럽 내 최초의 한국인 헤드헌터로 근무하면서 한국 사업부(Korea Desk)를 총괄했으며, 한국 기업들이 필요로 하는 인재상을 명확히 파악하여 영국 및 유럽에 진출한 한국 기업들의 한국인 및 유럽 현지인 직원 채용을 다수 성사시켰습니다.
각 채용에 최적합한 인재를 발굴하고 선별하는 탁월한 능력에 힘입어 사내 최고 실적을 기록한 헤드헌터로 등극했으며, 이를 바탕으로 선임 헤드헌터 및 전체 채용 사업부 총괄 팀장을 역임했습니다.
이후 Pasona Europe에서 7년간의 근무를 마치고 퇴사한 뒤 2014년 6월 런던에서 헤드헌팅 서치펌 K-People Europe Limited를 설립하였습니다.
한편, 전성민 헤드헌터는 한국 정부의 청년 해외진출 지원사업인 K-Move 공모전에 지원하여 자신의 영국 취업 스토리로 최우수상을 수상했으며, 이를 계기로 한국의 청년들을 위한 해외취업 강연을 했습니다.
